I’m not sure why you’d want to use TRS for the LINE IN when it’s LINE OUT that’s balanced. There’s no real relation between the two. One being balanced doesn’t mean the other one will be.
It shouldn’t hurt anything if you run TRS into your LINE IN. But it’s not required and you won’t be gaining anything from using TRS instead of TS.
