Triggering RYTM with Ableton drum racks?

Hi All

As the header suggests, i am trying to trigger the rytm from drum racks, i looked for a template, but couldnt get the one i found to work, im on a M1 mac, possibly why…

i have absolutely no issue with setting up EXT instruments with a routed, audio channel, and just working like that with indiviual channels and audio for each channel, but i find it quiet clunky, and love the compact approach of a drum rack.

I get the kick drum to trigger, on C2, and drop EXT instruments into each pad and set to correct CC, but iget no audio on the other channels, its super weird…

Can someone point me to a working rytm drum rack template, or am i missing something in my routing.

What if instead of starting from C2, you started from C0? As per the AR manual:

“Of the 128 notes in the standard MIDI range, 0–11 corresponds to notes C0 through to B0, the leftmost octave (which is sometimes called C-2–B-2 in certain applications) will trigger the Sound of track 1 through to track 12, respectively (provided they are set to their default channels 1–12). These note values map to each of the twelve tracks, regardless of which track is active. For more information, please see “APPENDIX C: MIDI” on page 82.”
