So I have an old Simmons drum set from the 80s.
How would you go about triggering an internal sample with E-Drums ???
You could look at a CV to Midi Eurorack module, and buy a small case for it - this would allow you to hit your Simmons and take its CV output and covert it to midi to then trigger OT’s samples?
Alternatively could get something like this to trigger instead

I don’t know the E-Drums, but it sounds like it might just have control voltage outs. Eurorack is a great idea because you can build on it and once you have a case there are all kinds of amazing modules coming out all the time (I adore mine), but if you just want a dedicated box, Kenton has a new one I’ve been eying for when I don’t want to go Eurorack… http://www.kentonuk.com/products/items/m-cv/pcvmidi.shtml
There gear is usually solid, as far as I can tell, and I have the Midi to CV one.
