Trig level vs sound/sample volume?

There is a lot of ways the to adjust the volume of each track.

Track overall volume
Trig volume
Synth/sample volume
Amp volume

what is best to use on trigs?

On a similar subject I noticed certain things slide
Why does synth pitch slide but not trig pitch?

You can only slide kit parameters. Note is a track parameter. The A4 also has dedicated Note slide to slide between track note values
