Tribute to nostalgic videogame addiction

I wrote this jam.

It’s all about videogames, the gameboy years, the ‘sit too close to the tv’ years, the ‘I’d rather finish Zelda than enjoy a summer with friends’ years, the ‘have you played this new game it’s japanese’ years. The soundtracks of games from the ninetees are amazing and all I did was mimic and steal, but it’s great fun! More fun than playing the games again, so I’ll stick to music for now.

I’m glad I no longer have that addiction. Several years wasted…

If you enjoyed yourself during that time, then it wasn’t really wasted.

You are so right, should’ve went full chiptune. I love this, RythmDroid… at least I feel obligated to keep exploring this more!

For the addiction comments, I personally justify getting lost in the dark woods of The Witcher 3 for almost four months last year by comparing it to reading a very thick fantasy or science-fiction novel. It teaches me a little something, it’s bad for my eyes, it takes a hell of a long time to finish, I stay up longer than I should and the outside world is less of a priority.
As with any form of leasure, kids, enjoyed best modestly.
