Drambo has done it. But yeah, not much else.
As far as this goes you can make most of this functionality in an ableton effects rack, albeit maybe not as user friendly but so many plugins exist as substitutes for learning your DAW.

You can switch scene’s on the fly with drambo, or do a gradual fade into FX scene and then switch?
Yeah there’s a midi mappable cross fader and you can change scenes on the fly. It literally works the same way as the Octatrack. The whole app is basically a virtual modular system with an elektron sequencer.

Weaver Beats roasted the crap out of this plugin, apparently there’s a much better VST that can do this sort of thing already.
infiltrator is quite different, WB doesn’t learn all of the apps before he reviews them, maybe it’s not even correct to say he reviews them, more like makes mention of them

Turnado is basically the same although each effect has its own master control and they are all in turn controlled by the master fader.

I’d want to be able to select patches (whole group of effects) - at least per scene in Ableton.
Otherwise, you’re pretty much limited to modulating the same effect every transition.
I think we all know that any negativity or pushback towards this plugin is mainly based on the hype/promo techniques surrounding it and how we’re all just a bit bored and tired of influencers and YouTubers who’s approach is this constant BS noise.
It’s why we generally like the no-BS people we like who aren’t playing the YouTuber hamster wheel game.
But, remove this portion of this Transit plugin, and it’s pretty cool really. It is what it is.
I feel that if someone had dropped this exact plugin without the Huang-ness, we’d all appreciate it for what it is and does.
Also, as well as the transition side of it, it’s a plugin that seems to be giving decent bang for the buck as a static multi-fx processor.
Summary- I get the roasting, but it seems like a good plugin.

…various combo/fx chain slots to adress in one same instance will come with an update i guess…
then u can just drop it into ur mainbus and be happy…
but…one knob to rule them all/good sound quality/easy on cpu/clean ui/transition whatever u want…?..hmmmmm…no need for me…bitwig covers all that and everthing else since ages in one overall mainframe…
really hard to find truu new tracktion and innovation in the 3rd party plugin jungle these days…
no wonder, we see so many influencer/pluginbrand collabs lately…
the only next new plugin i will spent money for…sonic charge’s synthplant 2…finally ready to walk on real new sonic terretory again this winter…and it won’t need no influencer deals to find it’s users…

I agree, unfortunately Andrews popularity is a blessing and a curse for him, I’ve seen people have a go at his masculinity, and other things that mean absolutely nothing and in my opinion he gets an unfair amount of the shill grilling I mean just because baby audio and he said the knob will change your life or something I dunno, but I’ve seen many devs and influencers call their products or products they like game changing, been going on forever but for some reason when Mr. Huang does it it seems to hit different 
whatever, I’m not a fan of his as much as I am someone that recognizes that he works harder than all of the other YouTubers put together and I think he deserves what he gets because he gave it to himself through that hard work… I don’t have to like his music or how he dresses or the sound of his voice to respect him for that…

two significant and basic rules, andrew is good proof for…
he’s no bad recording/performing artist by any means…but not too many people are intrested in his sonic worx for that simple reason…he’s just a too well known utuber…

I think the easiness of use has value by itself, it simplifies a pretty common workflow. Removing tedious toil is pretty great!
At the same time, as a Bitwig user, I can accomplish the same effect from this plugin with project macros to modulate anything else inside the DAW. It’s much more powerful even though a bit more cumbersome to setup but since I will probably already have setup the FX I want when I’m at the point of thinking about transitions I prefer to modulate EchoBoy, Valhalla reverbs, etc. instead of having to use Baby Audio’s options of FX.
I can see how a professional producer working in other DAWs who do this type of transition over and over and over for their work would be very glad to just chuck Transit in their project, it’s a nice tool, nothing revolutionary.
