I’ve been using the Digitone II as a primary sound source lately, and while its FM engine is incredible, I sometimes crave that “expensive analog grit” and hardware saturation.
To achieve this, I built a custom “Vintage Grit” Rack inside Ableton (100% native effects). In the video below, you can hear how this rack adds immediate character, weight, and texture to the Digitone II’s output.
I’m releasing this rack for free (or pay-what-you-want) to celebrate the launch of my new sound design project, Frame014.

I designed this to be a “set and forget” tool for any synth, but it works especially well with the Digitone II. I’d love to hear your thoughts!
