Track two - double notes see vid

When on track two, I am getting a strange occurrence.

The note will play or the sound will trigger, but upon release a higher note is played.

The video shows this happening in various machines, and that it isn’t happening on any other track.

What have I changed in the settings, that needs to be changed back?

Syntakt : undesired double triggers

I can see that if you have a AHD on the track you depart that the interrupted midi message is basically leaving the whole sequence in Limbo … the midi event is not concluded on the track you depart and you hear nothing until you play the same note again that was sounding when the recording was redirected if the departing track is an ADSR the note will ring out eternally as though you were still recoding that event sustaining a key press (sound settings permitting) - then as noted all you need …

Tuned off auto channel - no change.
No issues with the adsr - it started on the init
Not related to switching tracks in this case - as per above, it’s happened since I switched it on this afternoon.

Very strange. I’ve switched it on an off a few times to try and clear anything that’s possibly affecting it, but no luck.

It’s off currently, and I’ll have another go later.

MIDI comes to mind, albeit manifesting strangely - disconnect DIN/USB and compare

Does this happen if you disconnect all midi and turn the syntakt off and back on? I have had a very similar thing happen which I talked about in that thread Avantronica posted above. In my case it is a midi bug and has always been solved by turning the Syntakt off and back on, but it sounds like that isn’t working for you, which is really weird.

Had a brew, ate some food, turned it back on and of course it’s worked out whatever kink it had.

Takeaway is that it’s not me or user error, as it seems to be reported semi frequently.

Generally, in my Elektron career, these things eventually get addressed, so I can be patient. It’s not show stopping and power cycle(s) appear to address the issue in a positive way.

I’ve got the same thing with my unit. Is it a hardware defect? It’s on a few trigs.

Make sure all of the power connections to syntakt are fully inserted. The connection to the machine, where the power cable connects to the adapter and at the wall/powerboard too.

This solved the problem when it happened to me.

i have this effect on playing midi notes (midi channel) for external gear. after switching on/off the mother32 its gone.
