Track icons stop/play stutters

…hi…

just wondering, saw it today for the first time, not sure if it’s ment to be this way…

the track icons on the display with the current state of playing/not playing, the little square and the little arrow right next to each track button, are switching back and forth all the time during playing…

realised it with a midi track…triggered simple 8th notes straight and the track icon was changing from stop to play in a contantly and very fast way of blinking back and forth…

is that normal?

i thought this is a simple active track indicator, telling me the track is actually not muted if i see the arrow and vice versa…
what’s that nervous stuttering here…?

listnening results are fine…the tracks do work as expected, but it looks pretty weird and feels very uncomfortable once you’re hooked to it…

and i realised at the same time, some little shock hazard issue…my ot got some bit of electricity to brizzel on my skin, when touching the surface with more than just my fingertips…experienced this, too…?

Hey,

The play/stop icons are indicating sample playback. So they’re meant to change rapidly – it’s a visual indicator of whether there’s audio stuff going on on a track, which is really handy when muting/unmuting, for example. So that’s no bug.

Concerning the grounding/electricity issue: Unable to say anything smart. I can not electric. I’ve had the same thing with electric devices in the past, though… I think I had a macbook that gave me that?

…good to hear that…never realized that blinking terror before…looks more broken than promising to let me know…

but ok…thanx so far…
