Digitakt 4 midi tracks to this…4 midi tracks to my modular…perfection.
Or Perkons
This must be the Octatrack MkIII?
Quadratrack
Octatrack mk0,5
But what if I tape two of them together?
STEREO sampler, looper and live fx. Torso build quality and design. Instand buy for me.
Stereo sampler?
In this economy?!?!?
Two weeks still for “reveal”…
Digitakt also has just a 45 second sample time.
Which for most is plenty but I love the idea of processing really long loops
It’s about 33 seconds on DT as I remember it.
On topic: this does look super interesting, but the price is going to be a deciding factor, I feel. If it’s anyway near at best SP-404 MKII or at a stretch Polyend Tracker prices, it’ll sell like hotcakes. But I reckon it’ll be in the Digitakt price range.
Cosmos has 22 seconds loops max and it does amazing with it. If this thing does from 30-45 seconds would be really cool. Tasty Chips does 112 seconds though.
(caught myself with the same thought)
4 parallel stereo audio tracks - you could call that an Octaquad

which coincidentally does look like Octatrack MK3, at least visually ![]()
“We have a new GUI that’s faster, every menu is displayed instantly, and every folder is displayed instantly.” … from their Newsletter
Duo-quadratrack
Octatrack mk0,5*2
… since it’s described as a class-compliant usb audio interface (under “miscellaneous)” I wonder how it mingles
with MPCs, Force, Maschine+, iPads and ofc other Elektron devices …
… I also wonder about the polyphony since “polyphonic sample player” is listed under “audio engine features” …
This looks sleek
This Will not be under €1k
It’d be pretty cool if there are envelope followers from the filterbank for internal and CC modulation.
I suspect you might be right.
I assume so too. It packs a lot of features on paper. We will see.
One thing I overlooked which sounds pretty powerful now that I read it again:
“You can also expand the number of inputs and outputs by connecting a class-compliant external USB interface”
Yeah I was just blind
