I built a small tool that can chop longer samples (vocals, drums, or full songs) into smaller sections with a similar style editor to the sample slicer / editor built into the OT. I wanted something like this since I like the create slices tool to search around longer clips and create cool samples, but find that the full length of longer clips gets annoying to navigate.
Please let me know if there are any feature ideas related to this specific tool that I should implement. I am trying to keep the tool very minimal and focused on this exact problem since OctaEdit and similar tools cover a lot of other over-USB functionality.
as i like the idea of this tool, exporting to mono only turns out to be useless for me… i mostly use long sliced stems with a lot of stereo information.
i would love to see an option for keeping the exporting wavs in stereo, in the next release
