Tonverk: Tips & Tricks

Drum breaks are a lot of fun in multi sample mode with the random velocity trigs
Here is a video demonstrating in glorious 4k resolution

Also I’m trying to handle multiple velocity layers in my little tool, which works to a certain point (10 layers or so)
Above that, the patch just crashes the Tonverk as soon as I play a note

Transfering patches to the Tonverk is pretty painful after a hundred tries and i’m struggling to pinpoint the issue

Maybe some of my samples that are corrupted?
If anyone can try it out it and let me know how much velocity layers you manage to throw in a valid patch it would be greatly appreciated !

The goal here is to be able to create multisample engine patches with 16384 (128 velocity steps * 128 notes) individual slices by a single drag and drop
So far it seems to work at max 32 velocity layers regardless of the number of slices (tried 4 and 16)

Edit : please see this post if you have any insight.
After a trillion fails I’m pretty sure the issue is neither an error in the code nor corrupted samples, but is rather related to buffer management (?) Which I know nothing about

here is the dev branch of the tool

For reference this is a valid 127x127 .elmulti file generated by the tonverk
