See what you did…
Ah, makes sense
Where are the workstation / sampler guesses coming from? Would that make sense, given the DT2 was just released?
Mine was based on looking at the front panel
Direct sampling button + SD card slot I guess, plus dual usb-c
I’ve noticed that too, very cryptic but could be something like parameter slides…
btw the MOD/Matrix is way more interesting imo
My guess is something like a dedicated layer of trigless trigs?
Errrr I may be misunderstanding here but if this is an unreleased prototype and whoever took the photos has now sold the device to someone else, that seems sketchy as hell. Unreleased prototypes belong to the company that made them and aren’t exactly put up for sale on the open market before the market-ready device has even been announced. Something pretty wrong here TBH…
What intrigues me the most are the Functions on the up and down arrows.
Motion layer, sequencer layer
Automations?
I was thinking they would add this in the MOD button on Digitakt II or as a Trig mode
Where is the power socket on that thing? Via USB?
Analog 3
Probably gonna have a p slide Trig page option, makes more sense from a UI standpoint for new users who don’t know wtf it is. The buttons functions look fairly straightforward and self explanatory in a usable way
super sketchy, super weird, the poster was chinese so didn’t speak much, but he continued to post new images including one internal image of the pcb, most of the soldering points checked out with the buttons layout, the post was hidden by employee within minutes but not deleted, and op not banned, soooo… yeah…
weird af but here we are…
btw images file names included taobao which is chinese ebay kinda, plus some screenshots had price in chinese currency, he was trying to sell it… the fact he didn’t know much about it could be that someone just gave him a unit to sell or something…
I was so close to ordering a Squarp Hapax today. If “Motion Layer” means what I think it does, I’ll hold out for this even though all the button and knobs will inevitably become sticky.
Damn, yeah the sampling button. Interested in seeing how they fit this in! Could also be as a granular / wavetable source. Would be very cool and plays together nicely with dt2
It’s to decouple power and date, computers can introduce grounding noise since they are not primary made for audio applications.
By decoupling then one can be used for power for a clean power source while the other can connect to a pc without introducing noise
Mmmm, “CONTROL” menu and “MOTION LAYER”.
Eager to hear more from Elektron in due time, maybe Wednesday…
No clue, except for the hints on the panel, as to what the Tonverk does or if it does it well.
but i’m ready to throw money at it
