Also.
Who? You’re talking about my hair, don’t you?
Nah, it’s an old saying, like “you’re so handsome I bet you have to beat them off with a stick” which is basically what grandmothers are obligated to tell their grandchildren.
crank’em down with an old wrench.
modulate’m down below with your LFO.
“My LFO don’t want none unless you got PWM, hon.”
What did ever happened with this?
Perhaps we’ll see next Wednesday…
Elektron is scheduled to exhibiit at the Roma Modulare show the end of this month ( September ).
Nothing, and IMO I doubt it ever will.
Not that I think all Elektron product development has ceased, just I don’t think we’ll see a product called ‘Tonverk’
Said by a guy thats beta-testing the unit
Oh really? I didn’t know about it!
I’ll be there, but I don’t see them bringing nothing knew. It just doesn’t feel such an important venue, sadly.
And with the DTII still fresh of release I don’t thing it could make sense to present a new product so early.
You present products when you have them, and they’re ready. Waiting for the next Superbooth at this point in the year makes no sense. This is perfect timing for the holidays.
There is at least one other ( small ) Swedish company making a big product unveil at Roma Modulare. Plus look at the other larger exhibitors at the show.
I am making no claim either way. I don’t have any inside track on things, like some in this thread.
Not every music gear company seems to agree with that ultimately… ![]()
Jokes aside, as said, to me it is unlikely that Elektron will present something new, and i think that all the big brands advertised would be represented from their Italian reseller and not directly present superbooth/NAMM style. But I’ll be happy to be proven wrong.
The other company you’re referring to I guess is Suonobuono, and that’s pretty much a one man company, and I’ll be really happy to met Stefano in person with his new creation, as an happy customer of both his products to date (NABC+ and Lazer)
Anyway, I’ll be there for sure and maybe I’ll give my first hand impressions about the show and the gear present ![]()
Nothing has changed from this:

Calling it now: Tonwerk is a VCO poly based on the Rytm/ST DVCO engines with digital drum voices. The ST analog voices are awesome as a 3 voice poly, and it would be a shame for them to never get expanded
Tonwerk is a plugin and Elektron are following Waldorfs model…
Tonverk is Swedish for “Digitakt II Overbridge”.
Tonverk is the next $1900 flagship. Who knows, maybe we will see a Taktverk too.
