So here’s where I got to with the OXI E16 definitions.
There’s a parameter limit on each oxiindef file (256 params), so these are split into:
I structured it this way as I wasn’t using 8 subtracks much. One indef file per page.
Total params in each file are as below - its not possible to combine all params for all 8 subtracks, so you’ll need to cut and paste what you need.
Note: Wavefinder SRC NPRNs do work, but there was a minor issue in 1.31 that broke a couple - I haven’t checked this works for 1.32 yet, but i’ll try to confirm over the weekend.
| File | CC | NRPN | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tonverk-Base | 66 | 30 (nr1=0) | 96 |
| Tonverk-ST1234 | 1 | 196 (nr1=1–4) | 197 |
| Tonverk-ST5678 | 1 | 196 (nr1=5–8) | 197 |
Tonverk-ST5678.oxiindef (35.4 KB)
Tonverk-ST1234.oxiindef (35.4 KB)
Tonverk-Base.oxiindef (16.3 KB)
They actually do, but given the noise, repetition, lack of clarity and impossible suggestions they’re certainly not an easy read … maybe not the most robust method to propose that truly great idea, so yeah the email route is for sure a more guaranteed way to be heard … anyway, FR and bugs topics are definitely monitored periodically
to keep it on topic i’m just bumping this for anyone unaware as it’s kinda buried amongst replies
Ok @mekkimaru this is a 44.1khz 24bit file.
I converted it to 48khz 32bit and could load it. (I should have tried 24 bit but too late !)
Just to be sure 1,3,3 is it ok did nobody run into any problems.
cause for now im stuck a at 1.3.2 as i forgot to back up before upgrading thanks in advance
and please can this thread by clear of bug related issues just to kepp it more topic related thanks
So if outbox 8 is planned for june. With overbridge for Tonverk working at release, i have hope that a OS update with overbridge will arrive relatively soon. Can’t wait!
1.3.3 only removed a problematic feature, so I think it can’t be worse…
I am mostly in the same boat. TV is here on my coffe table near sofa. I make some patterns and fun experiment but nothing too serious as I am affraid to lose/break things.
Wait and see
Does it now have timestretch/slicing?
No and these features have never been promised so i would not wait for them to appear. There are some tricks that you can do with the Granier engine to get some kind of timestretch but I think it’s probably better to look at the Digitakt for that kind of thing ![]()
Octatrack timestrech is better.
