Commit arps to sequence? Does that sound cool?

Or let us p lock the arp sequence :imp:

I don’t understand

You can parameter lock the rate or arp mode but not the actual arp sequence (unless I’m mistaken)

Nah I want randomness when I tell the machine to be random. I do care about this. It’s a 1500$ machine wth. Elektron customers just wait. We pay for waiting. If I’m wrong tell me where I miss the mark.

Some things after giving the Tv some more play:

  • an envelope follower
  • a resonator
  • keytrackable FX parameters
  • a parametric EQ —even if it’s just a single bell/notch band
  • an Elektron-produced utility for creating emultis and eldrums
  • an onboard sample editor (trim / zoom / utility operations)
  • per-track swing. Like it would be great to at least ignore global swing on 1/4-time track sequences
  • more filter types—even if it’s just all of the filters developed to-date across all Elektron devices

And I’m not sure if this is possible, but scenes and a crossfader would be incredibly fun.

I’d love to see this feature too and have given it a lot of thought, but I’m honestly not sure how Elektron could actually implement it.

The main issue is that Tonverk tracks are inherently polyphonic, while track FX are strictly monophonic (per track). If you play a chord, which note should the FX keytracking follow? The lowest? The highest? The most recent?

The only other way around this would be making the FX themselves polyphonic (per-voice), but that would completely change the routing and drastically increase the CPU load.

Hapax style midi machines per track for use in the fx slots could be interesting

FX machine that splits frequencies across 2 (or more) busses

Good point.

Could there be a parameter alongside the keytracking amount that decides this? Say lowest note all the way anticlockwise to highest note all the way clockwise? Obviously in that specific example it would neglect note priority or maybe there’s a more elegant way to spread all possibilities across a parameter so you could at least somewhat choose the desired note to follow?

Just spitballing from a place of ignorance mind you, glad to be corrected if that’s unfeasible.

My mind immediately jumps to keytracking distortion which is fairly ungovernable at the best of times so I would be happy with any modulation possibilites even if they weren’t incredibly precise.

Good point! But agree that note priority would be a mighty fine workaround.

More voices more problems indeed.

I would really like to route individual subtracks (in one subtrack) to different busses.

Oh and across all Elektron devices: they need an LFO that runs free BUT starts from the same phase position on transport. Basic basic basic basic.

P-locking the phase position on the very first trig doesn’t do the job? Maybe yellow trig with a first only condition.

A record mode on the TV that I can arm for midi capture from external gear, that starts when receiving external transport.

If the Degrader isn’t gonna be Fixed for acurate beat repeats can the you guys add a ON Step Fill Option to be able to do things on a Playing Step from the step itself. A fill that doesn’t mute the step.!.. A Parameter Fill. A normal step with Parameter Fill… a fill without duration just as long as I want to hold it. Pretty Please !!!

I agree, this is super useful.

On other devices you can set lfo trig to off, turn it on… on step 1 ( eg conditional trig first ) .

I also though it started its cycle when pressing play
I also think tonverk lfo’s are setup like other machines … yet ( hopefully )
Only question is . With more lfo’s will I be able to select which are on / off etc .
