Perform mode def has some issues, I just entered it and my pattern lost half its sounds, but went back to normal on exit, and next time I went to perform it was fine. I like the system though, it’s quite logical
I haven’t worked on any rust-based projects but when I’ve evaluated it that seemed to be one of the big benefits (besides the speed and memory safety aspects) so I’m hopeful it translates to me being a happy customer with my new TV

If I have just a few tracks going, I notice latency stutters when I try to play/live record using the keypad. It’s worst on subtrack kits, where I am trying to play a steady pattern and then a note wont register on time and it’s like the machine freezes for a second - but I’ve noticed it with midi tracks too.
Ive also noticed stuttering/freezing on the filters, and on parts of the UI. I can see it quite consistently by having a few tracks going and then going into a naming screen and holding one of the arrow keys to move the curser through the letters - you can see it freezing up intermittently.
Makes it feel less tactile than my DT2, like I’m working with software rather than a physical machine.

just wanted to report the same bug and noticed it’s been reported already. can confirm this happens on subtracks when copying trigs that have a plocked pitch. when pasting that trig, it erroneously is the play mode parameter that is plocked on the pasted trig rather than the pitch

I’m also experiencing sync issues: Tonverk as master and Digitakt as slave. There are audible tempo fluctuations, and sometimes the Digitakt goes completely out of sync, forcing me to restart. In this state, it’s not usable, and I hope a quick fix will be released. The Octatrack worked fine in the same setup, using the same cables.

Same for me. Unusable when Tonverk is master. When I replace the Tonverk with other Elektron boxes it’s working perfectly.
It’s much better when Tonverk is slaved but not 100% rock solid: I set the Digitone as the master to both the Digitakt and Tonverk. The sync to the Digitakt is super tight, while the Tonverk is just a bit behind. I would not use the Tonverk in a live set up as it is.

What if you nudge the tempo on the TV with the right arrow so that it aligns with the rest of the gear, does it stay in sync?
I would personally resort to oldschool BPM number syncing if I had to use TV alongside other gear in its current state. YMMV

I just received my TV, so I hope I’m not tripping but mutes don’t work on Buses.
EDIT : in fact, not a bug, but it mutes only the sequencer in the Bus, not the audio.
It would be nice to have it as an option, don’t you think ?
EDIT 2 : Muting the sequencer only is also intereresting, but what what about "freezing’ the states of the p-locks instead of reverting to the machine’s settings ?
Also, something feels weird/laggy with the encoders.
Probably related, if I release an encoder and then hit FUNC fast enough, it acts as I was doing FUNC + ENC.

Elektron has processed the ticket, and the team is aware of the issue. They are developing a solution with the highest priority.

Are you using the same sample on the Digitakt and Tonverk? The waveform of the sample of the Tonverk looks slightly different—just curious if the Tonverk is doing something to the sample.

I’m surprised with the amount of latency (input registation as well as audio processing) across the instrument. It is the first Elektron device that does this for me. It obviously struggles sometimes, with laggy / low framerates parameter changes when I tweak them fast. It is also the hottest (like warm, as in temperature) digital Elektron machine I have touched. I wonder how much of this is early firmware or if the Elektron team thought “let’s absolutely melt that CPU for once”.
I am also experiencing the bug where multisamples and subtrack kits will not load properly.

To be honest, I didn’t check whether all the parameters were the same.
It’s the same sample and the ADSR curves are the same.
It could be that the filter or overdrive are different – or that Tonverk has different sound characteristics – which would also be plausible and nice.
The biggest difference is visually at the end of the sound. But it’s already very quiet there.
I didn’t really hear a big difference, but I didn’t pay attention to it either because I was so impressed by the latency and couldn’t understand its value.
This was the case for every FX sequencer lane in previous boxes.
But I like your idea.
And (you all) please declare to Elektron support any bug you find, especially if you can easily reproduce it!!!
Elektron is still actively working on the OS, so let them know!

The marketing on TV talks about it being a brand new platform. The 'Takts after DT OG all inherited a lot of their behaviors from the OG, so it makes sense that at launch they’d be fairly stable. This is all part of the fun of buying this thing (in my case) 15 minutes into the launch video.

If you do Autosampling it gives automaticly Names. If you renam this files you run in some Troubles, because it writes but didn´t rename the names of the samples in the Textfile.
So i think you have to change all the sample names in file by hand. That is a lot of work.
Is there no other way to doing this?
