I created a new Subtracks instrument and loaded samples into the first seven sample slots. I saved this as a preset but when I tried to load this preset I got a “Could not load preset” error message. I then created a new Subtracks instrument from scratch again, loaded samples into the first two sample slots and saved this as a second preset - this one also produced the same error message when attempting to load it into another pattern.
After reading the manual and trying to figure out what I could be doing wrong I had a thought - so i tried the same procedure again, but this time I loaded samples (actually the same one) into all eight sample slots. Now, after this preset was saved I could successfully load it onto another track.
My conclusion: saving a preset from a Subtracks instrument that does not have all its sample slots occupied can/will produce an unloadable preset.
Also experienced a lot of the factory presets for sub tracks won’t load when selected. Most works though. But about 5-10 of them doesn’t load on my device.
maybe double check that the samples fully loaded on the project?
loopop mentioned that this takes around 3 minutes
and what you are describing sounds similar to what he described would happen if you played the project without it fully loaded
BPM speed suddenly drops (once in a minute or so) when midi sync is sent to Tonverk from an external source. It seems that MIDI sync is very unstable. Did not happen with my OT or other gear.
When I just (by mistake) pressed FUNC+COPY on an empty pattern, it just said “wait” and freezes.
Only able to shut down by holding the shut down button in (which is another minus for the new shut down button, that required confirmation in the menu before it shuts down).
Actually a lot of these presets for subtracks are a mess - under drums I find both several melodic patches and ~10% patches that just is the same as the one after, but with a different name. (Doesn’t matter how long I let it load)
I think there may be some issues with some (memory cached) SD card state after using disk mode - I did have an experience where a folder appeared empty in the sample browser until I restarted the machine (and the contents of the folder had been visible in the sample browser before entering disk mode).
It seems on many of the Insert effects I cannot use FUNC and encoder to move
For example COM FILTER, the first encoder SPD is set to 36, I can change it to any parameter, I cannot FUNC-set it, it will always move to 36 as soon as I move the encoder.
In the degrader FUNC-BR does nothing, RATE goes to 64.
Tonverk delivered couple hours ago, my initial excitement soon wore off, loaded some of my own drum samples on, created new project - created new subtrack - assigned samples - all good so far BUT samples only playing out from right side, as if everything is hard panned right - even couple of the factory ones play same way too, dunno if Im doing something wrong or bug or faulty.
weird thing is its not 100% all the time, dont know whats going on, when assiging the samples to the sub track they sound fine, then at some random time they all only go out right channel…
Cant work it out, have raised support ticket, and preparing to send the unit straight back and wont get another.
Tried using Tonverk as master midi clock but after a while the other equipment stopped running all at once but TV kept going. No issues with a different master clock.
When scrolling and previewing Multiplayer presets (user ones) — most of the notes sound too quiet, and some sound loud, very random. When loading it afterwards - everything sound the same normal level.
