good to see RMR has been brought back into the Elektron household. Just need to get Cenk brought back into Elektron’s embrace. Jeremy’s last track was full of potential.

Just tested and when the TV is receiving traditional 5-pin midi clock sync it is still off and audibly noticeable

[…] There are a few more fixes that didn’t quite make 1.1.0 that we’ll put out in the near future, and we’re already looking forward to the next big updates for both Tonverk, and its siblings.*
[…] And look/listen out for more snippets of Grainer, spread out across all of our platforms.

Thanks Elektron :star_struck:. The scaling of the send fx amounts feels much better now.

More user test reports welcome!

The update seems amazing. But after that launch it’s the user videos and posts that count

Really want to know if the auto-sampling (and subsequent file management) is actually good now

Has this addressed the slight incoming audio delay people were talking about after the last one?

DIN midi multisampling was fixed last time and works perfectly. It’s says the USB is there now too.

How about usb clock in, did you try it?

One word to ruin Thanksgiving?

Tonverk!

Sorry, Gramma. We can discuss politics next year.

I did - the USB sync in sounds pretty tight to me. The 5-pin midi is still off

Finally Tonverk has discovered its signature sound. Such a shame they botched the launch before it was ready.

When loading samples into the Subtrack tracks, it no longer takes you back to the root folder for each new slot. Subtrack sample loading is great now.

When you’re loading samples to the sample slots with the Single Player still takes you back to the root folder each.and.every.time - bummer

That also the point I was fully convinced. Plocks and Elektron sequencer might be just what granular needed to be taken to the next level, both in terms of being actually useful and being pushed to absurd extremes.

To put that into perspective: Grainer has a maximum of 8 grains per voice, GR-1 and GR-Mega have up to 128 grains per voice (and up to 1200 / 5000 simultaneous grains in total), a lot more parameters, and a pretty aweseome mod matrix.

So it depends on what you’re after. In terms of what’s already possible, Grainer is a start. But as a free update for a TV you already have sitting in your studio Grainer is awesome.

I only have expierience with emergence, and that grain amount parameter didnt affect the tone too much in this vst - what would you attribute to this large number of grains? Does it sound more full, cloudy ? What is the higher density bringing to the table? Out of curiousity , maybe i need to explore that density a bit more in depth.
