good to see RMR has been brought back into the Elektron household. Just need to get Cenk brought back into Elektronâs embrace. Jeremyâs last track was full of potential.
[âŚ] There are a few more fixes that didnât quite make 1.1.0 that weâll put out in the near future, and weâre already looking forward to the next big updates for both Tonverk, and its siblings.*
[âŚ] And look/listen out for more snippets of Grainer, spread out across all of our platforms.
That also the point I was fully convinced. Plocks and Elektron sequencer might be just what granular needed to be taken to the next level, both in terms of being actually useful and being pushed to absurd extremes.
To put that into perspective: Grainer has a maximum of 8 grains per voice, GR-1 and GR-Mega have up to 128 grains per voice (and up to 1200 / 5000 simultaneous grains in total), a lot more parameters, and a pretty aweseome mod matrix.
So it depends on what youâre after. In terms of whatâs already possible, Grainer is a start. But as a free update for a TV you already have sitting in your studio Grainer is awesome.
I only have expierience with emergence, and that grain amount parameter didnt affect the tone too much in this vst - what would you attribute to this large number of grains? Does it sound more full, cloudy ? What is the higher density bringing to the table? Out of curiousity , maybe i need to explore that density a bit more in depth.
