Tips wanted for deep round sub bass for dub

My title say all! Can someone help me to create a sub bass very round for dub music please? More an electro reggae dub bass than dubstep please? Like french dub maker kanka if someone know him.
I can t find parameter that feet in the sound i like, if it s very sub it s not enough loud in the mix ans if i open the filter more i got distortion that i don t want at all for the track i make!
All tips are welcome!! Thanks

Hi, I am not the most expert Monomachine user, I just have one since 2 weeks. Not much but good enough to have a good overview of the main charateristics of this synth. I think you are right, it is not easy to find the way to make a clean sub, the filter Q does not help that much, may you can try to use the EQ in the effect section and boost the low frequency.

My general idea is that sometime this machine lacks of “power”, it is a wonderful machine for what concerns the creativity and make AFX style crazy tweaked sounds but if you need classic basses you may add external filter devices(I have been advised to take a Sherman Filterbank to add richness and fatness to my Monomachine…).

That was going to be my recommendation.

Gnd-Sine + EQ
Neighbor that into a Dynamix compressor track

  • EQ in the compressor track boosting low-mids
with LFO assigned to EQ freq, sweeping up and down, no more than 5 or 6 lfo amt.

Can also use a compressor track LFO in trigger mode on the same steps as the bass line, assigned to compressor mix, so that it squashes the tail a bit more.
Adjust compressor gain accordingly.

mmmmmm.

I already tried the eq low boost but not the dynamix track, it s maybe the way cause i canake it deep and sub but not loud enough, i have to find how to set the comp to act as limiter and boost mid frequencies! I ll try ot this afternoun, thanks!

thanks so much adam, gnd sine and dynamix was the way to do it for this!
i used gnd sine on track one with eq downing the high mid frq and neihbour this track a dynamix with hpf filter and eq that up the low mid and downing the dist on two track and up the vol parameter i m just near the sound i wanted, just a few tweack to go! a big thanks for you guys!

fast attack, high ratio, adjust release to taste.
