There are ways to fine tune this, and perhaps even eliminate steps. But here’s how I make the crossfader do VERY quick cutting. I wanna record some scratches, have a deck, sold my mixer and second deck AGES ago.

Was thinking I could use the OT fader, if I can set it up right.

Tried to set something up in the ER-301 to emulate it, but it’s just not werking right. Not sure it can’t do it, but am pretty sure it’s due to my lack of routing/internal patching skills

My humble OT tip. I have been trying to come up with a really tight xfader curve for scratching with OT. Now there are several methods for this but I think I finally figured out the best way: Set up a delay fx for the track you wish to cut with the xfader. Configure the delay to do echofreeze. I think parts seems broken, in some instances they can cause audio drop out if changed mid pattern

Not a power user as most of you here but…
I have experienced the same in specific cases: I am using my OT mainly as a mixer / live looper for my Eurorack. This means I have tracks (1, 2 and 3 in my case) setup as THRU tracks “listenning” to my Eurorack.
If I change parts right before the end of a page, it sometimes silences all the THRU tracks as the trig (“opening” the AMP on my THRU tracks) is not “registered” on the next page. I have mostly found a solution to this by having ALL trigs on my THRU tracks’ pages activates
Not sure if it relates to your issue.
