I recently got an iPad Pro and have a clarett 8 pre thunderbolt interface. Can I connect the iPad to the clarett? I can only find lightning to USB adapters not lightning to thunderbolt adapters. Do they make them? Maybe I need lightning to USB and then USB to thunderbolt. So many adapters! What do I do?!
Unfortunately not, two different types of connection. iPad requires a class compliant USB interface…

What if I used an Audient ID14 interface to connect my iPad and then connected the audient id14 to the clarett 8pre via adat. Would this be a good alternative to get extra inputs and maybe even zero latency?
