The power supply works just fine on UK power, like the vast majority of modern DC power supplies. The only adapter that’s needed is a physical adapter for the plug.
Dymaxion is right. Just be sure to read the small print on the outside of the power supply when it arrives to be sure. As I said in my post the power supply runs on a range of input AC voltages, so you just need an AC plug adapter.
Ok thanks really appreciate the info
So for those that won’t do Facebook, like me, the news is there is now a third party, meaning a company other than Irijule, making a mechanical mod that is said to improve the feel of the TB, giving it a much lighter touch.
It is 96 postage stamp sized plastic pads that you mount under the two silicone buttons sheets. You need to take the TB apart to do this, though the process looks not too difficult. There is a video that shows the process of installation.
You can purchase the mechanical mod kit through this Etsy web-site.
Meanwhile there seems to be continued problems regarding the software updates for the TB. The web location where you download that firmware is still not functioning. There are a considerable number of firmware improvements promised though not delivered.
It does sound like the hardware for the second Kickstarter is finally either now completed, or very nearly completed.
It has not been good with Irijule. They are deleting posts like mad that ask any questions about their promises with this device. I asked why they pulled the firmware downloads off their website and that got deleted as well. I like my theoryboard but Irijule seems pretty shady.
what’s everyone’s impression of the mod available on etsy ?
Got me thinking whether a similar mod would be possible on the Medusa.
