I don’t drive. For me it’s an off peak day ticket.
Great value and can take me multiple places. Yes there are more expensive luxury options like a taxi but i think the day ticket is a great option being both affordable and I get off any time and jump back on whenever I am
This thread is a bit quiet at the moment - I’ve not had much time to Woovebox lately myself, sadly. Hopefully soon. What’ve you all been doing with yours?
I’m still rolling with mine. Still an amazing device with what it can do in that tiny package. So much power and so fast to create something nice.
Only my eyes get sore after looking at the leds for a while, so my sessions are short, sadly.
I also connected the woovebox with my deluge (oled) over midi. Nice portable combo.
If you want to hit the ground running with the new features and have ~3 USD to spare, get yourself one of these;
Make sure to get the “stereo” (3 pole / TRS) version (e.g. one less ring than pictured). Note: there are various other sellers of this particular little mic as well - you don’t have to go through them.
This is nuts! Awesome
Currently Woovebox only has line level input for sampling I believe. Microphone must mean mic level sampling, or vocoding, or something of that ilk.
Wild
For every development cycle, I have a test track that tests new features and improvements.
If you listen closely (and also not so closely), you should hear most of the audible goodies in action in this single pattern-per-track song. Everything was either synthesised on the Woovebox, or recorded (4 samples) on the Woovebox with the $3 mic.
Got lots of work to do still until I can commit/share more. Stay tuned!
Anyone here have a Dirtywave M8? Thoughts when comparing to the Woovebox? Is there any reason I should consider the M8 if I have a WB? I rely heavily on the WB’s chord follow feature. Can you do random patterns in a scale on M8? Guess I should end this comment and go rtfm
