Buckfast Tonic Wine is a caffeinated alcoholic drink consisting of pure caffeine added to fortified wine originally made by monks at Buckfast Abbey in Devon, England. My Scottish friend tells me it’s very popular up there as it is cheap and gets you pissed quick. I’ve also read that in Ireland it’s got more caffeine in it (more than a can of Red Bull).
In other words, it’s loopy juice. Sounds like a lot of fun.
