i can get the vst surely however so many days haunting music shops and lusting over it, putting some keyboard mag poster up on my wall…

This one looks like something you’d see a maintenance man with.
Glad to see some others on here, like the Linstrument, Monomachine plus keyboard, that wooden thing and of course anything Aria.
I used to say the Analog Keys was really ugly.
Now after having one it’s grown on me a bit, but it still has this funky bulky square look to me.
the sp505 actually looks like you would use it to program your sprinkler system.

I never really enjoyed the look of the Typhon.
Something about the text turns me off. Killer sound though.

Ensoniq ASR-X. I have owned it. It is unspeakably ugly. And also unspeakably awesome. It is also very clearly the design inspiration behind the Beat Thang. It’s as if they looked at the ASR-X and then decided that it wasn’t cluttered enough, that the colors weren’t garish enough, and that the graphic design wasn’t terrible enough.
