I’m trying to figure out how to fit a three tier stand from Stantastik to fit in my apartment in Chicago.

I think I need to make the hard but most disciplined decision of my life.
Game changer.
So I cannot put it where the Gator Framework stand is because I don’t want to take up the space for my 9 yr old GSD.
(And note, my side of the couch is closer to the sectional. And I post up and play vidya on there or watch stuff via PLEX)
They were sold out when I trekked out to there. It’s like an hour outside Chicago with roadwork traffic.
I got the metal one, but it is not comfy, and like the purple box says. “Deluxe comfort for hours of play”
I’ve also got a box of assorted MRE if you need them
Oh my god Shiggi. I would LOVE that.
I loved those cots when I was an active Marine in Iraq. So comfy. Nice and firm.
But the pup gets a spot on the king size bed. She even has a step up.
Yes it’s red, because she is Royalty.
Can you acquire or build a riser box, possibly one shaped like a box with a cut out? that’s literally the only solution I can think of, you’ve sardined yourself into a corner and my rear can’t handle those little stools.
That’s exactly my problem, that is also my greatest solution.
Big boi choices.
I’m going to move the Gator back to where it was. It worked in the bedroom.
My subscription to Xbox game pass is up on July 17th, and I’m stuck on a midboss on the hardest difficulty on the new Jedi game.
So, I’m moving the TV where the Gator stand is, and putting the Stantastik where the TV is.
It will suck to try to watch or play anything on an angle, but I haven’t turned on my TV or computer since I left school.
So might as well just put the synths RIGHT IN MY FACE. Just whispering “…play us muthafucka…”
I really appreciate this mock up!
it’s easier than to describe at length the same thing. you’d just need to build an internal structure the way you would a skateboard ramp, with beams supporting each other, and then use some decent birch plywood for the top and sides. If you have tools and a workspace it’s pretty straight forward.
I’d also mention you would probably want it deeper into the cut than I depicted it so your legs aren’t constantly under you cramping, but you get the idea.
Haha. I’m in a Chicago apartment. I got neither. Plus this apartment is shitty, I’m going to be moving after the lease is up.
You nailed it. I know exactly what you mean.
there are various “maker space” type things across the country where you can go create a mess then head home to take a shower afterwards, google that sort of thing. you may have to pay a fee. or you could pay some guy off craigslist to build it but I’d jump on it a few times before I handed over the cash.
Bro. I’m north side. I live in a predominantly Hispanic family neighborhood. I could ask someone to craft a masterpiece. They get down!
It’s just hard. Even transporting materials.
The reason I’m still in this apartment is because I blew the Hemi in my Dodge Magnum, and I was stuck until I got my E90 M3.
And my dog ruined the interior of the Magnum. She’s 90 lbs. And get excited for car rides. It’s a problem.
So she’s never been in my M3. And the vet is in walking distance for her.
So it’s hard to justify building anything in a temporary situation.
I vote for utilizing the space over the bed. A few modifications to your synth stand and you can easily free up some floor space…….
My ceiling has collapsed because of water leaks with the radiators.
This building suuuuuucks.
