Nice I enjoyed 02 the most
Had some time to put together a 2 track EP over the last couple of days, one take as usual, bit glitchy this one:
Thanks for check them out!
Little bass heavy but who cares. almost completely improv
Did this modular jam a couple of days ago. Rough around the edges, but testing out how well the Erica Synth Black Sequencer was for live jamming
great set!
What stand do you use for the syntakt?
While we are at it. Here’s a 24 minute dub techno improvisation that started out of nowhere.
No actual video of me performing so I added a some misty, foggy forest footage for your stressed out minds to rest.
Syntakt × TR8s
Enjoy!
Very nice!
This is ace!
Thank you
I almost bought a dfam few days ago but when the prices went up…, I decided to look for a eurorackable module/synth for techno riffs and I was very interested in Eowave Quandrantid Swarm.
What are your reviews, what about build quality? In most videos it sounds harsh, can it be soft?
I’m not gonna lie, the build quality is prett bad. Wobbly knobs, plasticky, generally a bit flimsy feeling.
I didn’t do a lot of soft stuff with it when I had one, but I see no reason why it can’t, it’s got two filters, so should be easy enough to soften the edges.
I found it felt cheap and I never figured out how to keep it in tune. But it sounds unique.
People complain about the wobbly knobs, which they surely are. But my pro synth repair shop friend tells me those pots are actually more durable then stiff ones because the wiggle is already built in. Stiff ones will develop it overtime, with more failures.
Also, QS is a shit ton of fun!
Listenable?
In the contekst of two good buddies. Live take jam state.
Heck yes it is! Keep hangin tuff with the good buddies :0)
