Looks fantastic.

Looks great! Where’d you get the aluminum CNC’ed from? I just had a piece laser cut from SendCutSend (for a negative scanning rig I built), and now have a bunch of other metal ideas I’m kicking around.

I’m a sign (and branding iron… and other things) maker, so I did it myself at work. The job gives me access to a lot of machining and printing equipment, we don’t have a fiber laser (yet), but that would have been the cleaner/faster way to do it. How’d you like SendCutSend? I’ve seen them advertised

I’m by no means an expert in this field, but from a design file on Sunday to an aluminum part cut and delivered to my house by Wed for ~40$ I could not have been happier. In this particular case I needed a top plate to hold a LED light in place for an 80/20 film negative scanning rig I designed. Definitely plan on using them again in the future.

Bought an Alhambra 3F a few weeks ago to support my learning Flamenco. Just a quick word to praise the quality of that guitar. I got it used for around 250€ in great condition and it punches well above its weight as it plays and responds better than some 1000€+ guitars I’ve played. It produces a very punchy sound (solid spruce top), super fast attack, basically exactly right for the purpose of Flamenco. Only issue with it is that it exposes sloppy habits ruthlessly :flushed::joy:

That’s a well decked out spaceship! I have the v1 of that Bogner Burnley. Fantastic drive pedal.

That is also a V1 Burnley on my board (just in the Bubinga option). Agreed that it is fantastic. Definitely a sleeper pedal.

@shigginpit okay, so it’s not necessarily budget, but it’s one helluva spaceship.

Got myself a Taylor. Feels good to play on this one, I really like it, even if I find it might lack some bass, a bit.
I couldn’t stand the slippery Ovation round back anymore.

I’m looking for a 17" 432mm scale steel guitar, A tuning like Guitalele.
I found Ibanez only (ewp12 and 14)
Other choices ?

Has anyone tried the nano cortex? I’m very tempted by the new update. Looking for inspirational tones for practice and recording.
Enjoying shugie otis, khruangbin, cleanish dreamy and reverby tones.

Congrats! I played a Taylor Builders about 5 years ago and I’ve never looked back. By far my favorite acoustic and I’m a devoted Taylor player for life now. A lot of people have told me they thought Taylors sound a little thin but, to my questionable hearing, they’re the only guitars that cover the spectrum for me, very balanced. Like I said, questionable ears, but every time I see my Taylor hanging in the wall or pick it up and strum a chord, I’m just beaming. Enjoy!

Wow, doesn’t seem cheap.
I have treated myself with a 214ce.
I love the playability. And yes, it kind of lacks of bass, I feel, but maybe it’s my ear that is really used to synths now ^^
Lots of pleasure to play with this one, I’m starting to have hard fingertips again

Elliott Smith in the head, these days ^^

I only ended up with one because I took a part time position in a guitar shop to make ends meet a few years back. I played a Taylor for the first time and I ended up trading a bunch of my guitars and taking advantage of the employee discount for it. Once in a lifetime opportunity to own an instrument of that caliber, which had always been out of reach for me, and it remains my favorite guitar/instrument I’ve ever owned. I hope it brings you joy and callouses!
