I took my 10 year old boy to see them playing with The Mission (which was the real reason I wanted to go!) last summer. I will always remember his eyes lighting up when they played their first chord. ‘Best night of my life’ was his conclusion!!
We went to see Depeche Mode a few weeks later. We listen to DM more than the Cult at home, but I could tell he was a bit disappointed. To be fair, it was in a big stadium and the sound was shite. And we’ve got tickets to see Slowdive in January - he’s not even a fan, but has got the gig bug now!
