I thought it might be nice idea to have a thread for people to post looking for collaborators or offering to collaborate.
Lets give it a basic structure as follows (not a rule just a guidline).
Location: Some might want to collaborate face to face others via the internet and passing files either way it might be useful to add your location.
Goal/influences: Not a requirement but it would be nice to know what sort of sound you are aiming for with your collaboration. For example, You may want to find a vocalist to add vocals to your track or to make the next dark side of the moon.
Gear: If people are passing files it’s pretty important to know what gear you are using. If you are using ableton you can collect and save all for example and then share the project. Or if you are using the OT then you can share OT project files. Either way let us know how you work and how you intend to share your work.
Your work so far: A link to some of your music so people can judge if you will be a good fit or not.
Also if anyone just wants to give some advice on how best to work with others please feel free to post.

Location: Helsinki, Finland. Mostly looking for face to face collabs, but online collabs are possible too.
Goal: To make awsum music of course, and perhaps learn a thing or two.
Influences: Robert Hood, Basic Channel etc for the techno stuff, Kerri Chandler, Moodymann, Theo Parrish for the house stuff that I’m soon starting to make, when I get an OT.
Gear: Currently just an A4, but I’m getting an OT the next few days, unless something disastrous happens. Preferably hardware only collabs, I don’t get along with software so well.

Goal: Think Nicolas Jaar meets moderat… Something where I can provide the cheesy pop melodies and someone else provide the beat based bastardisation.

Goal: sonic explorations, boundary pushing, more shows with electronic based gear. ( NO LAPTOPS)
Influences: Literally everything, but as of late my ears have been twitching to Tim Hecker, Theologian ( new album) , Moderat, Autechre, bonnie tyler.
Gear: OT, Minitaur, Slim Phatty, xoxbox, MFB 522, shit load of pedals. A4 en route.

Did this thread never get much traction? Found it because I was thinking of posting asking about collaborators, and so I searched first. But if it isn’t the kind of thing anyone is interested in, maybe I won’t resurrect it after all?
