The Behringer Gear-in-progress Thread

Look at all the front panel controls and meters.

This feels like it’s thread worthy.

Fits with their spring reverb product too.

One of the comments on the YT vid says something about wishing they’d do a load more of these products to which the official B account replied “Just wait until next week” so there’s clearly other stuff like this in the pipeline

It’s a BIG pipeline. There’s always more good things on the way. Good to hear that some of it is imminent.

I think if you’re gonna do a thread maybe it could be for Behringer/Music Group outboard… off the top of my head I can think of the 636 reverb, the KT 76, 2a, EQP and 3rd Dimension to add to the list and if their comments pan out (excuse the pun) they could be focussing more on classic outboard after seeing what Warm Audio have been doing?

Out of interest I wonder where the development of this line is taking place? I know they have teams worldwide that do different projects… I wonder if this one has been done by the Midas guys here in Manchester?

True but Midas Consoles are up here (Old Trafford) and I believe their R&D dept is located here too

So you know how Behringer hints on their Facebook page.

They just put up an extensive deal about how they created and manufacture their own poly-aftertouch keybed. They currently sell that keybed in their UB-Xa synth.

This whole thing they put up on the manufacture of the poly-aftertouch keybed ends with …

More to come :slightly_smiling_face:

I think they’re about to make an announcement on another one of their poly-aftertouch synths.

Speculate ??

CS80, and a midi keyboard that is their poly at. Wonder if it’ll be Midi 2.0?

Good possibility.
I think equal chances on the JT-16.

There are others.

Nice. Also forgot they were doing the PPG. Hopefully they get that Pearl Syncussion out soon as well, and their take on the Easel.
Is that the Pro 16 (Prophet 5 inspired)next to the PPG?

The Seven

Seven announcements to come.

I’m wondering if the 49 key synths shown, are also going to be with poly-aftertouch ? ( The UB-Xa has 61 keys. )

Behringer had talked about a poly-aftertouch MIDI controller and significant to me was their intended price of $200 – which says their unit price on the keybed has got to be very very low. That might imply they could put it into all their larger keyboard poly synths going forward.

And they are holding the form factor on the VCS3. Big half empty box for shipping. It is dominating and impressive though.

I’ve thought about expanding the studio. These look like reasons.

The learn more link takes you to a dead page on their site and the YouTube link takes you to a private video. Whoops!

I doubt it’s the Pro 16 judging bu the placement and the style of those light coloured buttons and the short keybed. It’s got a Korg/Roland vibe to my eye but who knows? It puts me in mind of the RS09
