The Behringer Gear-in-progress Thread

I wouldn’t think so. Not completely certain, myself, but would be surprised if it did. There is the +12 and -12 V DC with Eurorack. Behringer has the CP1A in 4 HP, with a wall wart for Eurorack power.

Other companies do make USB power for Eurorack, so maybe. It would be nice for some uses.

I hope the Spice comes this year. I’m having loads of fun with the Edge.

Here comes a new challenger

Two 15s out now :

Behringer System 15

I notice Starsky Carr is using a Swing clone as the controller in the video.

Also like with NAMM earlier this year, Behringer perhaps may drop one or two more news in the next week.

This would be and instant buy if it had a few more ins. Four (monos) would be nice. Eight would be amazing.

Yeah, they have their U-phoria Series, but Eurorack format is the convenience.

I honestly feel like this is the better option. A full system with space for other modules. I’m really tempted on getting this system and a Pamela’s workout pro in there

Yup.

They have a K-2 MkII on the way, in transport.

Image from Gearnews.

They indicate the possibility of other Mark 2 versions of other products. One thing I think for the K-2 MkII might be better implementation on V/Oct.

This looks really interesting… what’s it based on? UREI?

Does anyone have first hand experience of their 76KT or KT2a compressors? Especially next to, say, the Warm Audio equivalents? I’m genuinely interested as a) it might give us some pointers toward how the 369 might sound and b) I want to get one of each and I’m weighing up the KT offerings against second hand WA ones

Yeah, the Behringer 369 is really interesting! A stereo compressor/limiter for that price can be great value! Hope it sounds good!

Have those Midas transformers been used before, or have they developed them for the compressor?

You know you’re a mature adult when you’re just as excited about a compressor/limiter as you are new synths/drum machines.

I’m fairly sure they use them on the 76, 2a and EQP although prob in different flavours
