Anyone snag a pic?
Bignill posted a link a while back that has good ( older ) images of the JN-80.
Where’s this midi controller at? Still waiting ![]()
The really interesting stuff seems to be taking a while - VCS3, Buchla Easel.
Has anyone here read anything new about the SP-1200 clone Behringer have started a brainstorm on just after the release of the LM-1 clone?
What are the chances this will get a module as well?
Never heard about this one, is it 2 voice? I think the Jupiter 8 needs at least 4-6 voices
Based off this statement sounds like only 1 ![]()
“While we’re currently working on a full key version of Jupiter, here is a new prototype in a smaller and more affordable Eurorack package. It features an authentic Jupiter voice based on the same VCOs and VCFs, plus an autotune and arpeggiator function. We believe we could make it for US$ 299 What is your interest in this model?”
It wont happen. The parts that get that sound are no longer available.
2 voices is duophonic? meh.
I really hope for this one. Andertons must know something.
Very likely, looking at past products they are prioritized (UB-Xa, Pro-800 etc)
I hope there will be a desktop version ![]()
How did mksrec do it then?
He didn’t. Spoke to Dave Rossum a few weeks ago. He’s just used the last of the filters and chips on his final version. There’s none left. The clone you talk about is using substitute parts. Behringer would do the same but there’s no point.
Don’t forget Music Tribe / Behringer has Coolaudio. If a design absolutely requires certain chips, they can manufacture 'em. That’s part of what gives Behringer the ability to do what they do, and do so economically.
As for the Behringer SP1200 they only started that project a year ago, there are posts up thread, so it’s too soon for it, although they may have working prototypes by now.
whatever happened to that bolca model d thing
