I’ve been looking around for the edge … it’s available for about £135 which seemed cheap.

Haven’t bought it though … will use noir on iPad and try to resist.

Compared to the Grind? This one is an all Analog signal path so it should be more expensive?

The Subharmonicon is the same cost as DFAM and M32, not that this is a proof of costs. The edge and crave are analogue too. But we are looking at a buy tomorrow difference of 229 to 135 which is a bit much to attribute to any extra costs

That’s why I think it’s a device which will be worth waiting a year or so on … as I mentioned there are often big price chops on Behringer stuff.

How hard is it to create with three boxes? Yes i saw the demo but it seems like a lot of hard work. Just thinking from a production point of view.

When does the new Behringer Sneeze come out

They share a lot of functionality ( eg sequencer) and layouts are similar where possible.

But it depends what you are comparing with and what you’re trying to do

If you have digitakt / Syntakt / digitone setup then it’s probably simpler because each of the behringer devices is limited to a small set of sound options and all have direct access instead of the menu diving.

Dual-Phase now seems to actually be in stock at Amazon/US, for $159.

So does this mean they’re adding more new products to their “massive” list of GIP, or are they ready to tick off done a few more from that already large list ?

Recent past may suggest they’re adding more, as there has been a few previously unannounced items set ready to ship, plus them recently writing, “we’re really excited to have a lot of new modules lined up.”.

Maybe it’s both.

Behringer seems to be hinting ( seems so to me at least ) that they’ve got a big announcement about to drop. It’s a good time of the year for that don’t you think ?

Or maybe they're joining our NGNY team ?!

Waves

Like the Mutable Instrument Tides, a modulator and function generator.

Behringer’s web page on it.

I wish they’d find a better graphic designer for those panels

But at least the synth / module / mutable side of it will be good.

Yeah, graphic design on those is atrocious.

I used to think the panel designs were too funky, gaudy and just plain bad but if you start to assemble a rack of Brains, Surges and Waves - it can look much more acceptable.

Behringer has for the past several years not done the shows.

Announcement : This year they’re going to be at NAMM, in Anaheim CA. That show runs Tuesday, January 21 to Saturday, January 25, 2025. It’s a diverse show so they will be able to show there entire range of products. I would expect some new stuff that fits this thread to be shown there too.

Uli plans to be there himself.

Will they do Superbooth too ?

Swords

Another in the Mutable Instruments recreation series, dual morphing filters, based on Blades

Sounds good.

Side note and I could be wrong, but I don’t believe any of the mutable clones are even in production anymore. Hard to complain if the orginal isn’t even available

All of these Mutable clones are tempting, even though I’ve been avoiding going modular.
