The Behringer Gear-in-progress Thread

So they’re playing guess-me on their FB :

This is pretty obviously their Mutator product, but they have reved it. Looks like they added three plugs in the line across the top, and maybe removed a knob from the right side. So they are getting creative here with the design, perhaps on the inspiration of one of the original designers. I am speculating, but this says to me – Watch this space, for something a little different.

If you have forgotten what the Mutator can do, watch the video i linked above of the original.

Wow, I want an analog rack mount stereo filter very badly. Behringer is genius for making this. Every vintage option is absurdly priced so I gave up on it

This mutator plus their 369 compressor need to be mine

Definitely something I’d want

Spice is on the way !!

They’re being sneaky again, this is on Patrick’s YT channel again, like the LM Drum unboxing.

4 posts were merged into an existing topic: Behringer Grind

A little more on the progress with the STX ( design based on the Synthex ) and specifically in recognition of the work of the engineer, Mateo, on that project.

Latest prototype picture.

They say the core technology is done, but they will be making cosmetic modifications to improve the design. They also are sounding very excited on the design over all.

So it sounds like it will still be a while, but that they are coming round the bend.

Behind the scenes (unofficial) on gear in progress and the making of vids and a peak at the wave …

That looks awesome

Joe Rogan, the Synthfluencer :relieved:

To be fair, I think he’s got some really short sighted takes, and embarrassing statements, but you can’t deny that he gets some truly interesting guest on there. I’ve pushed myself through quite a few episodes that had some amazing guest on a few years ago. However to be perfectly clear Rogan is wank.

Appreciate the behind the scenes stuff. I always enjoy learning how things are done. Their PPG sure looks tempting, as does the desktop OB.

That dude made people eat roaches for money on a TV show!

Same colour as Udo Super 6. What a combo

ive just visited a popular uk site to check the supposed discounts on a few bits of gear.
the model D (brand new) is cheaper than the B stock.

we’d actually be paying them extra to have had the gear used, scratched, opened and put back in the box… its a unique sales pitch…not sure it’ll catch on.

yes - i know its probably a mistake - theres no need to reply and tell me the obvious.

It sounds nice , even more so as there’s no indication of any external fx being used.( unless I missed that ?)

There is FXs used in this video.

Behringer are definitely banging these producers units out by the bucket load.

Patrick goes through the detail of the effects he used in the intro video as well as showing the dry sounds, and sounds with only part of the effects in the first video i put up in the Spice thread. ( post )
