Check this out. It basically runs on an A1000 from 1985 – well, just a memory upgraded version, with 1 MB instead of 256 or 512 KB but same chipset / processor / architecture.

Also, I saw a mention to State of the Art on this thread. The followup of this groundbreaking demo was pretty cool as well. Released in 1993, running on the very same hardware – that is to say, the same as the original 1985 Amiga with just more memory :
