That Syntakt Sound

Hey that’s me! Thanks for listening!

A J Dilla inspired beat in the style of Dillatronic, made with the Elektron Syntakt. Recorded into Logic Pro X where effects were added and automated using a Novation Launch Control XL. All sounds are coming from the Syntakt, except for the vinyl noise. Effects and mastering from Logic Pro.

Thanks, will try it. Rim shot is very versatile - I was making huge epic leads the other day with it.

As I was listening to this in my headphones, the building I’m in started shaking. Turns out they were doing some construction work outside. Now I know how this track will sound on a PA system. Literally earth shaking.

Thanks everyone!

Analog tracks only, from this morning. For my Electric Debris series. Was recently obsessed with drums into clouds/similar gear, so as usual I try to get the same sound just inside my Syntakt.

Wipeout (video game) style of songs you go crazy on, it (usually there was Prodigy ect … )

Another J Dilla inspired Dillatronic style beat. Same deal as last time. All sounds are coming from the Syntakt, except for the vinyl noise. Effects and mastering from Logic Pro.

Guyz , may i ask a small question here :

I use Syntakt via overbridge mainly , i noticed as soon as i plug in headphones or any other thing on it , i have disconnection with overbdige …is there an automatic thing that switch on/ off input /outputs ? or some ?

When nothing plugged , connection’s solid .

Thks and sorry to post here but a lot of veterans around here lol

I’m a low rider lol  had to find a name lol

Thank you! Yes the snare is layered. Digital SD Basic and Analog SD Classic. The digital one is mangled noise that sounds weird on it’s own, but good as a layer.

Also, there is a spring reverb added in Logic that has a different character than the built in reverb from the Syntakt. Cheers!

I managed to create a kinda spring reverb if i recall well on syntakt , i think it was with delay with feedback and a lot of modulation in conjonction with the reverb …
Nice snare , it really sounds like a sample , can you post the settings ? curious to see that if ya don’t mind …

Been a while but finally released a new Syntakt only recording. It’s the track that I created for the new Mastering Syntakt course (part 2). Hope you enjoy
