Bass is Sy Raw
Lead is Sy Chip
Padish sound is Sy Chip
Other synth is CB classic
Sub bass in the middle is Dual VCO

BD is Acoustic
SD is Acoustic
HH is Basic
Also a snare sample

High Tom is a sine wav sample but I think I’ll rework it to use the high Tom instead

Great track and sounds. Wish I still had my Rytm!

Cheers, thanks for listening, happy you enjoyed it. What do you use instead of the Rytm?

I got a Machinedrum last year and found it better for sound design. I also use Digitone for percussion and hihats etc. And for quite a while now I have been using Octatrack with Machinedrum, Digitone and field recording/glitch samples.

I did like the Rytm and its sound, I just found it hard to go further in sound design with it’s machines.
Fantastic and very surprising update! I’d love to try those new features and hope to see some of them for Digitone.

Sounds like you have a real nice setup worked out.

For sure the Rytm definitely has/had it’s limits. Although always curious on their previous models, as they sound superb.

Shoot what a fantastic update, really like it a lot, much thanks.
Here’s a little ambient jam, trying out the new features:

So much melody, amazing job and really shows off what the new OS can do. Nice. Has a blend of recent Aphex meets Autechre to my ears. :black_heart:

This is really cool! Is this done all using internal sequencing? I wonder if your using song mode? I still haven’t done that and this is inspiring to do just that.

Also do you have other stuff online i can listen to?

Has that Autechre Warp Tape sound. Love it too

Nice little groove and great snare! Is that Acoustic?

Thanks! Yes it’s all internal sequencing, muting and unmuting pads. I haven’t really used songmode on the rytm. Tried a few times but always preferred using the pads and scene mode for arranging.

I have to finish this one and then i’ll put it online with some similar stuff

Just the analog part of Rytm in this short demo, no external processing either:

Sweet dark little romp

How’d you get that shimmering/icey pad?

Cheers, that should be UT Noise with self oscillating filter, with some LFO modulation.

Atm i’m challenged to make jams with only the (new) analog machines. Still very much digging the update.
(added a little de-mudding after recording)
