Mentioning the instrument is not relevant if you have the problem with the act itself. It didnā€™t enable him or ā€œmade it really easy for the big guyā€. People donā€™t create threads about guitars used for plagiarizing music. The instrument itself is not an issue.

IIRC, he finds the earliest source for the relevant ā€œmusical materialā€ in neither song, but rather in OutKastā€™s ā€œRosa Parksā€ā€¦ (which oddly enough, itself was legally challenged for misappropriating, not musical material, but the activist Rosa Parksā€™ name)
