No orange carry bag?
I think the Orange Carry bag was only in the two
early drops. I bought in the ”Regular” release.
It came with a black ”soft” bag which i think helps with dust maybe with the Orchid. Text on it
Ah that makes sense. Wasnt’ sure if this latest drop was the global release that doesn’t include it anymore.
How long did it take for you it to be shipped to you? My order went through in the first 10-ish minutes on the latest drop, but who knows how many are being shipped first to stores, distributors etc.
I got my shipping notification last Thursday so it was super quick to get to me - package was sent from Hong Kong to Sweden. It was DHL Express and arrived in just 4 days.
People would rather spend hundreds of bucks on a gimmicky device than to learn how to stack thirds.

For those who own Orchid, how is your screen?
I just received mine (from drop 3) and the screen seems very dark. It almost feels like there is no backlight even though there is.
When I search videos of Orchid the videos fall into 2 camps, bright (with a slightly blur hue) or dull and barely visible.
The screen also seems to be of quite poor quality with what looks like burn in on the screen. Kinda disappointed if this is how it’s meant to be.
my screen is bright enough, but dimmer than the lighted dots next to the knobs many people say their screen is dim… it’s worth making a feature request as they are definitely still developing this thing. I don’t experience any blurring

Being an idiot I assumed the orange case was included even in the newest batch, sadly it isn’t.
Anybody know of a good fitting case for this little guy?
Is it made of plastic or metal? Is the keybed any good?
Back (the “beige” part) is metal (apparently it isn’t?), rest is plastic.
Keybed feels good to me, but I got it because I obviously can’t play. The “white” keys have a matte finish which I think feels pretty nice.
It arrived yesterday and I immediately drowned about 4 hours of time into it. Sound shaping options are limited, but the effects are pretty dynamic.
I know people say never buy something due to expectations of what future firmware will bring, but I think there’s defintely some room for this to grow into a more versatile instrument. Today I’m gonna run it through some stuff (specifically the Strega) which I think will turn it into a legit beast.
