Yup, was still too hot, the only solution was to really lower the Tonverk.
the internal pre on the tx6 is analog and can gain up to +42db
the M1 microphone can be used up front with the headset socket directly and that is really loud and fun to record room ambience with the line inputs, idk birds when outside ![]()
Wish they allowed it to go up to +50dB or +60dB even if it drained the battery more
Has anyone had issues with round trip latency on the TX-6? If I’m actively monitoring the input (like say recording a live instrument through it), it’s like having a slapback delay on. Completely unusable.
I swear I’ve never had issues with this before, I’m not sure what changed but all my recordings now have to be dragged forward several MS to line up correctly as well.
Edit: I figured this out. If I had the mastering plugin set on the master bus in Logic, even if it was disabled it would cause significant latency. Might be time to upgrade my Intel-based Mac mini…
