Teenage Engineering EP-133 K.O. II

I like that the EP-133 seamlessly transitions off of battery power when a USB is plugged in.
It’s obviously how it should work, but I was still pleased to see that I’m not gonna need to pull batteries out or anything when I am running it on USB juice.

There IS noise when powering and listening from the same source. This is also to be expected and I haven’t tried one of those audio isolator things but I suspect that would help. No noise at all when on battery, or when powered from a source that isn’t in the audio chain.

Not a PDF, but thanks.

The Lock Mode is a cool idea. Essentially you start it up in Lock Mode, and any changes aren’t saved. And then when you restart the device, it resets to how it was when you started it in Lock Mode. This is great if you will be jamming or a performance where you know you will tweaking a lot of fx and faders, and you wouldn’t want those changes to get saved. Also could be good if you are traveling, and afraid of an accidental power-up and butt-dialing your patterns into oblivion.

yeah, the online guide is not user friendly at all. Was hoping for a PDF as well.

Day 02 of TE creating a label, but not actually shipping it. If this thing shows up broken I’m just gonna return it and buy a pizza.

Pizza prob regardless tho.

That should be the default behavior anyway. Make TE bear the brunt of annoyed vendors/ repair costs/ labor for their screwups.

I just mean not even exchanging it.

Right? I just want to search for keywords at the very least.

Like how can I mute and unmute track groups? I made the mistake of doing that, then couldn’t figure out how to unmute all of tg-2.

ABCD. FADER + level

To unmute a group, hold the group button and raise the fader.

I love you all.

maybe I missed it but is it possible to have fx affect only the selected group triggers or as you raise the fader the whole group get’s it anyway? If it’s the latter I’m not sure why you’d select triggers in a group?
(so I mean specific sounds within the group)

another DIY fader fix. loud sounds at the end

Sadly no way am I comfortable taking mine apart to fix my fader. I have tried to move and wiggle it and I can get a static reading at 46 but it doesn’t move, just flashes for a second.

I’m pretty sure Juno have sold out which means I wont get a replacement

had a little connection moment, realized the commit function is as productive for me as the M8’s duplicate function was, i love instant progression forward
