Requested (as many others) to add resampling to the ep-133. Doesn’t seem impossible that it will happen….

The The OP-Z does this too and lets you resequence the looping segments too as far as I know

This is what shows up when I Google “Teenage Engineering”:

All 3 places have them in stock. I don’t even need to type in the model of the unit.

Thanks for the calcs!

So at 12 minutes and 16 seconds in Mono, my additional calculations tell me that if we split that by two to get Stereo. we’d get 6 minutes and 8 seconds, and personally that’s already enough for how I’d use it.

But if that’s the total arrived at through actual bytes, theres a good chance it would only be the worse case scenario, cause I either read or heard it uses a special algorithm to fit more into the memory. I’m not going through the videos again to find out which, but I think it was the Anderton’s, something about 64MB not sounding like much, but the it uses an algorithm.

I suppose you could get even more geeky by taking the amount of memory the original K.O. has, then compare that to what would be arrived at using the calculation method you used above. Then from that, you would have an idea of the efficiency of Teenage Engineering’s algorithm, and from that, be able to come to another value that takes into account the algorithm they use.

I’m not doing it though

Really nice to hear you can nudge stuff and have control over the microtiming like that! Thanks also for the details, but can you check the MIDI keyboard playing thing? Are we limited to a few octaves or can we play the whole MIDI keyboard?

that was my concern - can anyone confirm? let’s say I have drums in group A and want to add reverb on a snare - is it possible? or does it apply to the whole group?

so glad I managed to think about this for long enough for it to sell out everywhere as 100% definitely going to end up buying one, but better that that happens after I actually have the money to do so I think.

Even if the price of “all samples” is tempting:
I got tons of samples I don’t need or like and it takes hours to get a rough overview.
IMO its better to focus on different discounted packages from Samples from Mars.

I got a ‘thank-you-for-choosing’ email, but still no shipping info.
I ordered 18:00 cet from Europe on the day of the announcement.
I am just too excited.

Any suggestions? Agree it takes hours to find what you want. I’m getting it as a long term thing so that when in the future I want some new sounds, I’ll open the folder and browse.

Looks so well design. I would like to work as designer in TE! Wonderful products

Samples from Mars are great, but as an alternative I’d suggest Beat Batter.
They seem to sound a little more unique to my ears and I really enjoy using them.
(I also have all the Mars samples)

If they add this and USB audio, I’m getting one for sure.
