how much originally?
Hey man, seen these on Etsy and really like the format, only worry I had is that they are maybe too heavyā¦so Q to you :), how heavy is that KO2 cover? And would you throw the device into a bag with just that cover on?
In any case, looks super nice!
You cannot just throw the case in a bag. The bottom orange connector piece will break off if you sit the bag down roughly. That is one part of the design Iād recommend changes on.

Canāt remember how much he charged originally but I think it was in the $50s tho. Working in product design I remember feeling like he was under charging considering the alternatives. I also made a custom case out of legos and it cost more and wasnāt as robust a solution.

Iāve had it since launch week and Iāve put it through a lot. I travel often so itās been through airports scanners. I sometimes carry just the case with the included leather strap and itās banged against doors, dropped on concrete (will scratch of course).
Iām confident nothing will break on this case unless you break it intentionally, are extremely clumsy, put it thru some unnatural behavior or just received a faulty one.

These were my first cases. Custom made legos which is fun to build but youāll need glue and about $60 worth of legos to build anything close to the fanboy case. Product list is on Reddit or I posted all this info in the first few weeks post launch if anyone cares to do a lot of scrolling.

No prob. Aesthetics are important to a lot of people. imo thatās where TE knocks it out of the park and separate themselves from everyone else.
So, naturally weād want a case consistent with and showcases the original aesthetic of the device while offering enough protection to feel comfy tossing in a bag or back seat.

Sad, very sadā¦ Outstanding quality, but 1/4 of inch shorter than neededā¦ 
My love for the ko2 has cooled down a bit and I got stuck to get the spark going again.
I filled a lot of sample slots, projects and scenes. I am just too lazy to track it all to a DAW.
Part of me says to wait for the backup option which will be released soon I hope, another part just wants to whipe it all and start with a clean slate.
What do you guys do to overcome this mental block?

I overcame it with cash 
by selling mine.
As you, I was too lazy to track to a DAW, or wait for the updates.
Sold it since it was collecting dust. I still dig it, but until it matures more, Iāll explore other endeavours.
I have too little time to make music these days and I kinda turned into a snob when it comes to grooveboxes Itās instant gratification / tick most of my boxes or ā¦ out the door

I do two things: first, I play the track live into the DAW, recording all of it as I go and while the piece is fresh. These are good enough for putting on YouTube, but I wouldnāt use them for a proper release.
After that, I record each pattern as a clip and save the whole thing. That way, I can make a full arrangement in Logic Pro if I ever need it.
Then I erase the project and move on.
