I loved this interview. They are about to make a really neat line of gear, and I’d love to hear more regarding the factory in Spain. So much room for updates.

i put together a mixtape of my favorite jamuary beats, all made this past month on the ep133! i recorded them over a self help tape from 1968 so you get some fun tidbits from a time long ago in between the tracks.

Is that you there @te-david ? What a fascinating interview, more of this. David 4 king.

So I left my KO in the cold today while venting my room, and probably the case got a bit deformed… or smth, because my speaker started interrupting. It was working only when I pressed the front plate.

Anyways, here’s a quick fix:
Unscrew the backplate, unscrew the tons of mini screws of the logic board.
Carefully remove the logic board.
Then, there’s a small piece of logic board connected to the speaker wires that connects with the main logic board when pressed.
What I did is I put a small square piece of tape between that small bit and the case, so basically when you screw the thing back in, it will press that small bit against the logic board. Magic! It works flawlessly.

PS: Arm yourself with patience, a lot of screwing around is necesarry, and make sure you put them all back to where they belong

Hey there, cant work out whether this is a glitch or I am doing something wrong. When I engage a fader parameter and make a change (filter for example), once I have finished editing I cant ever get it to go back to just being the default volume control.

Any idea?

How cold?

I have the same combo - it’s so much fun!

well it’s winter outside… 2 degrees Celsius. So probably in the room was like 18 Celsius when I opened the window.

Just come across the Oxi One…Oh my…

Anyone using the Oxi One with the KO??

I’d be blown away if it was the TE co-founder and KOII lead designer who answered our questions all this time here, I thought it was some random employee lol.

Now it makes so much sense when he said in the interview that he likes to read forums after putting the kids to bed

I’m not saying that they won’t do it, but the proof is in the pudding, a.k.a. talk is cheap. So you can hardly say that anyone has been proven wrong before we actually see that this comes to fruition, and then you would have to inspect the balance sheets to see if it also was economically wise. Jeff Bezos could give away a free synth to anyone who wants one and then release free updates for the rest of his lifetime. That doesn’t prove that it’s a good idea if you’re trying to make a profit.

have you forgotten about the 3+ firmwares updates that have been happening since KO II launch and the on going talk with david in here? Or the article about the fader defect ?

When has Elektron ever been this transparent? Do you remember how they handled the power handle situation?

want a Reminder?
