Teenage Engineering EP-133 K.O. II

I love the old school VCR tape display

Also the pad text corresponds with the punch in Fx. So if you press 4 plus 5 and alternate the pressure you will get a band pass filter which you sweep with your pressure

What’s included in the box, thanks?

I see legato is in there… any word on glide/portamento?

Yeah it’s really cool… I feel like I need to dive more into making music with it, I’ve mainly been trying to brick it . So I’m looking forward to that. I feel like it has great potential to be a great beat maker for me.

How many MIDI output channels are available for the sequencer?

Can patterns be chained, presumably within a project?

Are projects backed up by USB file copy?

nice finally A T.E. product I would consider to buy

So each pad can send midi on a different channel… but it’s omni in.

So you can take a pad go into keys mode and make a polyphonic pattern and have that send midi to your other devices

Am I right in thinking the fx can be assigned just to one pad rather than globally? E.g to apply variable delay to just a snare hit.

Cool. I’m more interested in using the KO II sequencer to play external units than having the KO II take MIDI from an external sequencer. How many MIDI channels can be output? 2? 4? 7?

How does backing up projects work?

The way the light strobes with the track FX looks so cool on camera. Cant wait to see how that looks in person.

Not sure if it’s been posted. But here’s the editor

The editor looks pretty clean.

Can I sequence this using my Torso T1 for drums and samples?

Theoretically 16.

There’s a web utility app for backing up projects, or rather you download the whole device. Don’t have the adress though

Yes, but it’s OMNI in. So every midi in channel gets sent to an active group…

Edit: each key note is a different pad in a group also works the same in key mode only that then you sequence one sample melodically.

It’s even trippier IRL. I was startled first time I tried it
