Anyone here have a fenix?
There was only 75 made apparently. Aphex Twin made a track called fenix funk 5. They say he had 2 fenixes and used the four bandpass filters to make the robotic vocal sounds.
I don’t own one.
This was all done 2000 - 2010 approximately.
There is now a Fenix IV, a successor to this. gathering steam the past couple of years from a group now called This is Not Rocket Science.

I listened to these demos and thought, ‘I’d love to get in to this’ to avoid the beginner money-pit of euro. Then heard that satisfying ‘clunk’ sound when he patched a cable and thought, yeah, that sounds too expensive for me. Still, I’ll keep my eye on it, you never know!
