Synthstrom Audible Deluge [inc. Open Source development]

Is copy/paste notes broken in Chopin? I tried the usual hold grid pad + learn, press horizontal encoder, display confirmed copy, then did the same but with holding shift+learn and a different grid pad, press horizontal encoder, display confirmed paste, but nothing was pasted. It has been a while since I used that feature, but I think that should have worked?

Anyone confirm or correct me?

Hmmm, not sure if you are trying to paste a single note or the range of notes contained in the current view… The latter would be:
Press [LEARN / INPUT] + press (SCROLLā—„ā–ŗ) to copy the clips notes
and
Press [SHIFT] + [LEARN / INPUT] + press (SCROLLā—„ā–ŗ) to paste the
current clips notes
(see here: Synthstrom Audible Deluge Manual Book (Page 7 of 30) | ManualsLib)

Oh, and yes, it is still working for me in Chopin.

Thanks, I am trying to copy and paste single notes, but I am doing it wrong I think, as it does as you say and copies the current view.

You have never been able to copy paste a single note

I was sure it was possible before but yeah I must of been getting mixed up with something else

if you’re in grid view it does not work that way. For copying grid pads in grid view hold the source and press the destination pad. I recommend to watch my videos on it where it is explained in detail.

EDIT i missed the replies, thought you were referring to grid view! Looks like you were trying to copy a note? It copies the entire screen.

Two extra LFO on their way in the nightly!

  • Added two more LFOs (LFO 3 -global- and LFO 4 -per voice-), which you can access from the sound editor menu.

dummy question. Is there already or are there plans to introduce a harmonise track function similar to oxi one or OP Z/XY mastertrack on the deluge ?

We have a midi transpose feature that lets you setup a midi track with the channel set to ā€œinternal transposeā€ and it will transpose all scale mode clips.

So in song view it will act as a master transpose track that just loops and transposes other clips.

In arranger view you could create a midi clip and extend it the entire length of the arrangement and it will transpose your arrangement.

Ha i was wandering about this. So in settings i just need to turn on internal transpose, and what do i need to do for this midi clip that controls transposition in arrangement?

Lol, I guess. Though I did buy an OG circuit and a tracks when it came out and never bought a deluge. :stuck_out_tongue:

For some reason the deluge never appealed to me and I’ve owned a ton of different groove boxes.

Fun reading the earliest posts in this thread. From Sept '16

Actually, while Elektron were quietly hard at work on the Digitakt OG

It never appealed to me either. But I’ve just ordered one after months of investigations. I ignored it early on because no normal keyboard layout and I disliked the LED digit display. But it’s come so far since then. Pretty crazy what it can do now really.

While I await my Deluge, as I’ve done with other gear I’m late to (like the Analog Four) I’m reading the whole thread.

My favourite storyline so far, that I cannot wait to see how it evolves, (better than many TV shows!) is the tale of Andreas Roman:

I like everything about the Deluge. But what I like the most, is that I don’t want it. I am cured.

…

Nope, no more shopping. While the Deluge is awesome and ticks the groove box boxes for me, I don’t want it right now. The Digitakt’s plenty.

…

Just placed an order for one now, and returning the Digitakt.

…

This instrument has given me peace of mind. I’m done with my gear hunt. This is the one.

:joy:

EDIT: Loads of super useful and detailed workflow posts, he clearly loves it, then suddenly in a reply to someone:

I no longer own a Deluge so don’t remember the details

I realise this is YEARS ago now, but if you’re still around and using them, did you end up using the Pyramid much after getting the Deluge? I bought a Pyramid awhile back haven’t had a great deal of time with it, it’s super capable. But my Deluge is on the way and I suspect I may not need the Pyramid at all. Although Pyramid’s midi LFO is awesome.
