I’d like to express my loving support for all of the FX mode and Sample Editing feature -centric devs out there who are hopefully working hard on this open source project…

There seems to be a report of a terrible sound from the new master compressor.
I had tried to sell my Deluge a few times. At this point, I’m really glad I didn’t. Open source coolness aside, it’s a rad machine. Hardware piano roll is so damn good in addition to everything else it’s got going for it. But really, lack copy/paste notes and kit instruments hurts.
You can copy/paste notes I’m almost positive!
you can copy all notes on the grid in clip view and then paste all to a new screen within the same clip or to another track but i think that’s as granular as copy/paste gets
Should be fixed in the latest beta from yesterday and it now even includes a sidechain HPF.

FWIW, I note on facebook there’s a guy called Sean Ditney (is he here ?) mentioning in passing that he’s working on a ‘poly-end play inspired’ performance mode.
He hasn’t said much more than that. It’s a ‘work in progress’ but he does appear to have shared it with one friend.

Is Synthstrom going to release an official open source firmware update in the near future or is it a continuous beta release? Just curious on how the process works.
ohh, and THANK YOU to everyone who has the skills to work and build this. 
This is where they are making the most “definitive” communications. Eventually it should become an “Official Community Patch” (still separate from the Official Firmware, however).
But yeah, they are making headway towards the official patch there’s just some performance issues and bugs that are preventing them from saying the firmware in its current state is out of beta.

still a lot of work to be done to get it to a finished feature but it works and people are having fun with it!

I believe it’s all notes within the current grid zoom level (eg one page). You can copy from one zoom level and paste to another zoom level also.
Maybe the question was about copying only some notes?
